Hi We are Stacey Sandlin & Benas Veikalas Your Slam Dunk Mortgage Team. We are a husband and wife team who will work very hard to make sure your mortgage loan is a slam dunk! Benas was born and grew up in Lithuania dreaming to become a professional basketball player.  He came to the USA with one duffel bag, and a dream to play USA college ball.  After winning a high school state championship in CA, and receiving a college scholarship to play ball, he went on to play 12 years of professional basketball in the European Basketball League, making his dream of pro basketball a reality.   He played for teams in Lithuania, Czech Republic, Germany, and Italy traveling far and wide to play in amazing countries like Israel, Spain,  and Turkey.   After retiring from ball Benas has taken his same work ethic and brought it to the mortgage industry to help his clients dream of home ownership a reality. Stacey met Benas while he was playing college ball, and since she was also a collegiate basketball player they took a shot and never looked back.  Stacey is 3rd generation Military and an Air Force Vet and prides herself on helping the military community. She is also a 2nd generation mortgage lender, following her mom into the business and learning all aspects of lending.  She was a Kaplan University instructor for mortgage licensing, a licensed mortgage lending instructor, a bulk purchasing auditor for wall street, a  processor, closer and an underwriter.  She uses this knowledge to help get your loans to the closing table. She spent 12 years overseas cheering her husband on while he played basketball and relocated her family to 6 countries.  Stacey and Benas have 3 children, 2 boys who are in college, and a young daughter who is 8, alot of their free time is spent following their sports and activities in Nevada, Ohio and Florida.
